    After spending over a decade as a landlord, I witnessed first-hand how the lettings industry frequently lets down both landlords and tenants. Time and again, I encountered inadequate service, empty promises, and a distinct lack of genuine care. I also found estate agency fees to be unreasonably high, which directly influenced rental prices and affected landlords’ ability to meet their costs. It became abundantly clear that change was needed.

    In 2017, I met Windy. Drawing on her experience as an estate agent in France, she spoke with real enthusiasm for her work and described how much her clients valued her integrity and commitment. Her approach was in complete contrast to what I had experienced in the UK, and it inspired a new idea: what if we could create an agency that operated differently?
